1. *****OSCAR WEEK***** February 24 — George Clooney. Ever since his departure from ER in 1999, George has been doing about 2 movies a year. It just so happens that both of the movies he did in 2011 have earned him Oscar nominations. He is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for The Descendants and Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay for The Ides of March. Sure, it’ll be nice if he wins, but the real winners will be all of us when we see him smiling and looking ever-so-handsome on the red carpet on Sunday.
