May 30 — Josh Brolin. He is a superb actor with a pretty impressive resume; starring in big name dramas including True Grit, American Gangster, and No Country For Old Men but we personally still love him the most from his very first movie role — Brand from The Goonies. Right now he is starring as a young Tommy Lee Jones in the number one movie at the box office for Memorial Day Weekend, Men in Black 3.

May 29 — Matt Barr. This lovely specimen is no stranger to the small screen. He has been in several series including Hellcats, Harper’s Island, and One Tree Hill. He’s guest starred in everything from CSI to Castle, Friday Night Lights to Gossip Girl, ER and The OC with a few not-so-blockbuster movies in between. Right now we are loving him in History’s mini-series Hatfields and McCoys as Johnse Hatfield, a young Lothario who falls in love with a McCoy girl. It’s very Romeo and Juliet. Swoon. We can’t wait to see what happens next. Part 2 of Hatfields and McCoys airs tonight at 9 on History.

May 28 — Uncle Sam. Happy Memorial Day!
-
May 25 — Orlando Bloom. This one goes out to our friend, B, who absolutely loves Orlando Bloom, especially as Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and Legolas in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. So we’re all excited to see him reprise the role of our favorite elf in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey later this year. Happy Birthday B!

May 24 — Will Smith. What can we say about Will Smith? We’ve loved him since he was The Fresh Prince. We loved him the first time he defended the Earth from an alien invasion in Independence Day and again in Men in Black. All of his movies have been big hits from the get-go (except maybe The Legend of Bagger Vance. Anyone remember that one?). Now he’s back to his old tricks, defending the Earth from the worst scum of the universe yet again. Men in Black 3 comes out today.
-
May 23 — Sacha Baron Cohen. The mind that brought you Bruno and Borat is back to his crazy antics with his latest shocking movie, The Dictator. He may not be everybody’s cup of tea but we think he’s pretty hilarious and when he’s not dressed as some insane character he looks good.
-
May 22 — Morrissey. AKA Steven Patrick Morrissey. Happy Birthday! The solo artist and former lead singer of The Smiths turns 53 today. It’s been almost 30 years since he first made it big and he is still relevant today, touring the world. He is one of the most iconic names in music and… hair.
-
May 18 — Jared Padalecki. We first loved him when he was Rory’s sweet boyfriend, Dean, on Gilmore Girls! Now he’s battling all things that aren’t of this Earth in Supernatural and he looks good doing it. The season 7 finale of Supernatural airs tonight.
-
May 17 — Patrick Dempsey. Last week we had Dr. McSteamy this week is Dr. McDreamy, the one that started it all on Grey’s Anatomy. We totally get it. He’s charming and handsome and has perfect hair. Doesn’t really get much better than that. The season finale of Grey’s airs tonight and it’s going to be intense.
-
May 16 — Alexander Skarsgard. He is best known as Eric the Vampire on HBO’s True Blood. He also starred in another HBO mini series, Generation Kill. He’s had roles in many Swedish movies and notable American movies, Straw Dogs and Melancholia. Next up he’ll be starring in Disconnect with Jason Bateman, The East with Ellen Page, and What Maisie Knew with Julianne Moore and Steve Coogan. Starting on Friday we can see him fighting robot aliens on the high seas in Battleship.
Fun Fact: Alexander Skarsgard is the son of famed actor, Stellan Skarsgard.
Funner Fact: Remember the super-model roommates from Zoolander who loved Orange Mocha Frappuccinos and met their untimely demise via a gas-pump fight? Yep, Alexander was one of those guys. Love.
